A side panel may be fitted to cover the side of a cabinet to make your kitchen look more elegant and built in. The panel will be made in the same premium material, colour and finish as the new doors from the same cart. The face side will be flat and the sides rounded by just 1 mm radius (as in our W28 model). The back side that is intended to face the cabinet frame will always be white. The standard thickness is 18 mm to mimic the side of the cabinets but other thicknesses are offered.

The IKEA-way was to just offer 1 thickness + a few fixed sizes. The end consumer had to cut to size themselves which also made the outer layer of paint to go away, leaving the customer with rough edges. Since we produce on order we are able to make "any" size and we will apply the colour when the panel is already in the correct size. Our sides will always be perfectly straight.
